Sales Development Representative

We are seeking a sales prospecting machine! We are a global leader in our field with high growth expectations. Our prospects experience will be improved thanks to us and it is our mission to help them adopt Poppulo from scratch.

This role requires an experienced sales development professional with a successful track record, preferably business development in  SaaS sales teams, fuelling high performance by both a) generating leads from Enterprise target accounts and b) convincing new leads and contacts to be curious enough to agree to take a call with our Enterprise Sales Team.. 

The ideal candidate is a self starter - an innovative, smart worker who gets a buzz from competition.  You are a great team player with  excellent verbal and written communication skills. You have a strong passion for technology and enjoy working with cross functional teams, especially Account Management, Customer Success, Marketing and Product.  You never give up!

  • Research and evaluate target companies
  • Identify high value contacts matching target personas
  • Connect well using thoughtful email & phone calls
  • Convince prospects of Poppulo’s business benefits
  • Persuade prospects to have a call or take a meeting with a Poppulo sales person
  • Support marketing efforts by following up on inbound leads and inquiries
  • Work closely with other SDRs, Senior Sales Executives, Key Account Directors and Marketing to improve and perfect our messaging
  • Minimum of 2+ years prospecting experience in a B2B business
  • Excellent research skills
  • Excellent verbal and written skills in English
  • Demonstrated success of reaching monthly and quarterly targets
  • Detail oriented with the ability to prioritize, plan, and organize your activities
  • Strong analytical mindset with excellent problem-solving skills
  • Experience with CRM and opportunity management systems, preferably Salesforce.
  • Education to degree or 3rd level equivalent
  • Fluency in a 2nd language particularly German, French or Spanish would be an advantage.
