Sales Development Representative

At ActiveCampaign we believe we need to iterate fast. The successful candidate will need to thrive in a fast paced environment where things change quickly. We are looking for a candidate who is driven,organised & high-energy with natural sales instincts.

At ActiveCampaign you can expect to be asked for your input into future processes for the sales team and across other teams as well.  As a result, the successful candidate will need to be a team player who is confident seeking and providing assistance to others.

Although there is a competitive base pay and OTE structure this is seen as a development role where the successful candidate will be working towards a more senior role in the company, this trajectory is dictated by the needs and international growth goals of ActiveCampaign. During this developmental stage, an SDR can expect in depth training and access to self learning material.

  • Actively manage your sales pipeline of inbound leads
  • Identifying and creating new qualified sales opportunities from inbound leads
  • Seamlessly transition qualified leads to senior sales teams & close smaller more transactional deals by owning the sales cycle from start to finish
  • Make 50-100 calls/day
  • Run discovery calls and collect critical information
  • Answer questions about platform features
  • Effectively plan your daily and weekly call schedule to ensure all inbound leads are promptly followed up
  • Fluent in English
  • At least one year of sales experience
  • Exceptional communication skills and ability to relate to others
  • Positive attitude and highly motivated to reach/exceed quota
  • An inquisitive nature and a passion for understanding what makes a prospects business successful and/or unsuccessful
  • Highly coachable, eager to learn and grow their career
  • Willingness to work closely with others in a collaborative manner
