Sales Development Manager

As a Sales Development Manager at Tines you will be responsible for hiring, managing and coaching the SDR team to set qualified opportunities for the Account Executives as well as supporting operational strategies to enable our SDRs to exceed their goals. As an early leader of our Sales team, you will have the opportunity to have an influential voice in shaping our team, our sales direction, our go to market strategy, and our culture.

Responsibilities

  • Build a world class Sales Development organisation focused on new lead generation, across inbound and outbound, by prospecting and qualifying opportunities for the Commercial and Enterprise Sales teams
  • Hire, train, and manage team of Sales and Business Development Representatives
  • Motivate the team to exceed objectives through coaching and support
  • Work with Commercial Operations to establish and track the key KPIs for the team, developing dashboards to report on lead quality, quantity, success rates, etc
  • Work closely with Sales Leadership to develop repeatable strategies for logo acquisition
  • Work closely with Marketing and Commercial Operations to build and manage top of funnel prospect building
  • Work closely with Commercial Operations to shape and improve or systems, processes and tools
  • Create a tight feedback loop with the Account Executive teams to ensure insights feed into the sales process
  • 5+ years of sales experience, preferably in a B2B SaaS environment
  • Previous experience building and leading successful sales teams, preferably Sales or Business Development
  • Experience working and prospecting inbound and outbound leads
  • Proven experience successfully managing people to exceed performance goals
  • Successful track record in a high volume sales environment
  • Outstanding communication, organisational and time management skills
  • Excellent presentation and listening skills
  • Must be able to thrive in a very fast paced environment
  • Ability to hire and train new sales representatives
  • Track record of motivating, mentoring and inspiring teams  
  • Coachability: open to feedback, learn from mistakes, eager to learn
