Public Cloud Sales Specialist – SPGI

Summary:

As a Public Cloud Commercial Outbound seller you will be responsible for driving new cloud revenue and signings within your territory, position IBM Public Cloud portfolio to clients, land new clients for IBM Public Cloud and to work on new projects within our existing client base.
You are passionate about your clients, your clients business and you can engage in many industries.
You are able to translate IBM Public Cloud portfolio into a clients value to support your customers to grow their business.
You will demonstrate a new way of selling – no powerpoint selling but demonstrating our capabilities by live demos in front of your clients.
You are hungry to identify new fields of interest for IBM Public Cloud.
You are a strong team player – the success of the team is your success.

Your Role and Responsibilities
You…
… are a Public Cloud Sales rep for new clients and new projects at existing clients.
… enjoy to work on and sell hot topics such as Kubernetes, Red Hat Openshift, IBM Garage, IaaS or PaaS
… you are accountable for new Public Cloud annual contract value (ACV/TCV) and revenue
… Serve as OO on major cross offering Public Cloud pursuits
… demonstrate Public Cloud products, features and functions as a means to developing and progressing opportunities
… cultivate strong relationships with client
… differentiate IBM Public Cloud solutions vs. competitors
… work in close collaboration with other business units and functions e.g. Client Success Manager, Global Markets, GTS and Hybrid Cloud to grow your portfolio at dedicated focus accounts
… handle all commercial aspects of the relationship such as contract negotiations, solutioning,proposal development or pricing requests
… have FUN at work and with Cloud native solutions !
… maintain sales hygiene with accurate and timely forecasting in Atlas and other tools

Required Technical and Professional Expertise:
Motivated and very proactive
– Skilled in customer account management (and use of CRM tools like Atlas)
– Sales ; Skilled working in fast-paced selling environments with direct customer interaction and a range of customer types
– Strong presentation and pitch skills
– Sales experience with current Digital Sales Strategies
– Excellent reputation within Social Selling
– Able to work in an autonomous way
– Fluent English and an additional SPGI language, Spanish, Portuguese, Greek or Hebrew

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise:
Previous experience or knowledge about Cloud computing
– Knowledge about Cloud market situation and out Competitors
– Know how to position Cloud vs an on-premise environment
