Product Manager

  • Translate Zalando Group Strategy into a strategic and tactical roadmap to deliver a superior product experience vs. any competing online or offline experience
  • Mentor and potentially lead a team of  product managers 
  • Collaborate closely with stakeholders and teams throughout the product value chain, (including buying, article onboarding, in-house production of product images and descriptions, Product and Category Experience department) to deliver customer facing experiences based on the product understanding you create
  • Identify and align competing priorities and manage a portfolio of global and local initiatives
  • Provide direction, protection and order to the entire team as part of Product Experience  leadership, working closely with the Engineering Lead
  • Help us master our product culture across Zalando by developing and hiring product talent to facilitate product processes that create remarkable impact for our customers at scale, ultimately building The Starting Point for Fashion
  • An experienced (5+ years), data driven and highly collaborative Principal Product Manager with a strong growth mindset and a track record in shipping customer impact at scale
  • An analytical mind, able to break down complex problems with logical and easy to understand frameworks, paired with the ability to identify, retrieve, and process the needed data
  • Experience in defining and delivering on a product vision and strategy across multiple technical teams while managing competing priorities, resulting in proven positive customer impact
  • Solid experience in measuring the success of your products across large scale releases and continuous optimisation
  • Experience in leading and developing people
  • Work experience with machine learning technologies and teams is a strong plus
  • Experience in an e-commerce (ideally fashion) domain
