Role Description:

This role is an exciting opportunity for a talented individual to work in the dynamic Equity Transaction Services space. The team provides primarily middle & back office support to various Equity Trading Desks who trade across global markets for EMEA based clients. The role involves facing off with many different business lines, gaining exposure to a multitude of systems and departments. 

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to play a key role supporting our Sales Trading Desks as well as working closely with our back office settlement teams and Client Relationship Managers. The team deals primarily with the booking, allocation and confirmation of cash equity trades executed with our institutional client base.  Additionally we also support the Swaps desk for Broker checking services and the cash equity business for Priority Client trade matching services.

Additional responsibilities will include facing off to the Front Office, dealing with queries, managing priority clients to make sure benchmarks are met, ensuring periodic functions are performed in strict accordance with timelines and checklists, managing inbox queries and issues, following process control standards on all tasks and duties performed.

The successful candidate will be pro-active with an analytical approach to work. The individual will have excellent communication skills, both oral and written and be able to work in a pressurized environment whilst maintaining an attention to detail.

This role is specific to the Equity Trades Processing team supporting the allocation and confirmation of cash equity trades executed with our institutional client base.

  • Booking of trade allocations and monitoring client confirmations.
  • Providing Support for the London Sales & trading Desks using knowledge of Operational Risk, Client Money Protection and Funding to ensure timely allocation, confirmation and settlement of trades
  • Managing client communications and queries in a timely and knowledgeable manner
  • Resolution and escalation of unmatched trades for EMEA Priority Clients settling in the European markets using market related experience with knowledge of Equity products
  • Timely response to client queries regarding the settlement of their trades
  • Using OMGEO CTM and various internal systems to monitor live risk and ensure accurate and timely booking/allocation of trades.
  • Problem escalation to product specialists and technical support teams
