Marketing Automation Consultant

Responsible for working across teams including product marketing, campaign management and marketing automation, you will help to create best in class awareness, welcome/onboarding journeys for net new prospects through to paying customers using all available data sets including email, web, product, practice success and enablement, etc to identify key ‘moments that matter’ for engagement. With a customer centric focus, you will use data to identify customer needs and pain-points to encourage product usage, educate customers on product features and promote USPs during their onboarding period. You will optimise conversion through customer insights, segmentation, content, and campaign tests while constantly hunting for new growth opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Mapping and documenting customer journeys end-to-end using all available datasets, technology and automation to inform nurture programmes.
• Assisting in the development of A/B testing ideas and campaign orchestration, working to try new things to optimise the customer journey that will facilitate the creation of perpetual low touch demand.
• Leverage personalisation to create unique nurture programs by segment, persona, intent behaviour or product usage.
• Work with the regional product and campaign marketing managers, learning services and content teams to develop clear contact strategy.
• Work with campaign managers, operations and marketing automation specialists and others to develop and build nurture flows to ensure timely deployment of programs, their continuous improvement, and ensure sharing of best practice.
• Testing data between our various technology platforms to ensure that data mapping is working correctly on an ongoing basis.
• Align with global and regional marketing functions and sales to understand customer needs and identify opportunities to reduce sales assisted contacts where appropriate by identifying opportunities to convert to a digital touch.

Experience:

- 2 - 4 years’ experience in B2B marketing with a focus on various nurture activities (email, paid advertising, events, webinars, in-product).

- Email marketing experience with demonstrable experience of campaign logic development and execution and an understanding of email best practices.

- Experience in segmentation and persona mapping.

- Advanced nurture logic skills (e.g. if/then conditions and rules) and the ability to map both nurture flows and customer journeys.

- CRM experience, understanding of leads, contacts, accounts and opportunities.

- Previous experience in reporting and development of data requirements that align with business KPI’s.

- Understanding of Sirius Decisions (or similar) models (e.g. Demand Gen waterfall)

- Project management skills.

- Strong data evaluation skills, with the ability to interpret data from various sources to offer solutions and shape business decisions.

- Ability to translate business requirements into technical specifications.

- Ability to work on own initiative and easily adapt to a fast-paced environment.

- Eager to learn and can do attitude.

- Salesforce CRM experience preferred

- Marketing automation (Oracle Eloqua/Marketo/Hubspot) experience
