We’re looking for someone who:
- Will assist in the production of reports to various Risk governance committees, providing clear and comprehensive documentation in support of risk-related issues.
- Will support and contribute to risk analysis carried out by the team or be involved in larger deep dive projects.
- Will review daily and monthly risk reports and monitor against limits.
- Will be involved in engagement with stakeholders to manage a variety of risk processes.
- Challenges existing ways of doing things to improve and develop risk processes.
- Can work independently and communicate findings in a concise manner to senior management.
- Actively seeks opportunities to learn from other team members and to grow within the role.

Risk is a second line of defence function that monitors, controls and supports all risk-taking activities across AIB. Within Risk, Financial Risk is responsible for providing assurance to senior management on Market Risk, Funding & Liquidity Risk, Pension & Equity Risk and for validating financial risk measurement and valuation models.
- Relevant third level or postgraduate qualification in a finance or analytical discipline.
- Excellent analytic and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills with an ability to produce and present high quality reports.
- An ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
- Strong interest in Financial Markets and a knowledge of treasury products, risk measurement, financial markets and market risk concepts.
- A focus on growth and improvement combined with a desire to learn, share and contribute.
