Global Vice President of Pre-Sales

As the Global Vice President of Pre-Sales, you will be responsible for building, leading and developing a cross-functional team of pre-sales leaders. You will lead our Solution Engineering and Sales Specialists functions across North America, Latin America EMEA and JAPAC . These teams all play a significant role in how we achieve our sales targets each month. This role will help drive HubSpot sales strategy and continue to scale our growth through leveraging these teams in various ways as we grow better upmarket and downmarket. 

In This Role, You’ll Get To

  • Lead and build a growing team of technical and specialized go to market (GTM) employees
  • Directly manage and develop a global team of Directors, enabling them to effectively coach and grow their management teams and individual contributors
  • Continue to evolve our pre-sales organization so we can most effectively support the variety of solutions across our small business, mid-market and corporate segments
  • Build a Sales Specialist team that acts as an overlay quota carrying team focused on accelerating sales of specific products/Hubs
  • Develop cross-functional product feedback loops that help drive product development direction
  • Build scalable technical solutions to help automate the presales role across our low-touch sales model 
  • Work closely and collaborate with sales leadership, product, revenue operations, enablement, Human Resources and Recruiting teams as key partners in hitting team goals
  • Own regional annual planning, budget responsibility, recruiting, hiring, and on-boarding execution
  • Be part of the global sales and revenue operations  executive team and influence key strategic decisions for the HubSpot sales organization. 
  • Experience leading pre-sales or worked closely developing pre-sales strategy and building overlay sales functions that help accelerate sales of a specific product
  • Experience developing technical GTM motions and strategies that apply to both large customer acquisition and low touch small customer acquisition
  • Second line people management experience and a passion for creating a diverse and inclusive team environment that fosters trust and empowerment via a purposeful culture
  • The ability to motivate and align a team to a vision and manage effectively through change
  • A proven playbook for for hiring, coaching, and mentoring technical GTM teams
  • Strategic mindset to help drive HubSpot go to market sales strategy
  • A deep understanding of customer needs to design sales processes which solve for customers first
  • A strong track record of growth and overachieving targets in a high velocity, high-growth business 
  • Previous experience working in SaaS industries is advantageous. 
  • Proficiency in public speaking at industry and company events
