You will work in our cyber and privacy team based in our new Dublin Docklands office which includes cybersecurity, data privacy, and incident response and investigation services. Our team provides a full spectrum of privacy services including privacy assessments, transformation, data protection outsourcing services, privacy breach management, subject access requests amongst others.
Candidates will be asked to demonstrate flexibility as we serve clients both across Ireland, with opportunities for international assignments. As part of Grant Thornton internationally, we also collaborate with other member firms across the globe.
Candidates for this role should be able to demonstrate project management and consulting skills with a good working knowledge of IT and data protection. Successful candidates will ideally have a professional services background with experience of providing practical advice and solutions to companies in meeting regulatory and standards-based challenges, in particular for GDPR. They must have excellent problem solving and communication skills. Ideally, they should be naturally inquisitive with a keenness to learn and broaden skillsets.
They must have a client-centric ethic because, as a consultant with Grant Thornton, they will experience direct client facing engagements and project delivery.
Generalist IT project managers, information security, regulatory compliance, risk or internal audit professionals with similar experience will also be considered.
The role will require strong client delivery skills, with a passion for data protection and a commitment to personal development. The role will involve client delivery, business development and people development.
