About The Role:
The EMEA Employee Engagement team is looking for a vibrant self-starter to fill the role of Email and Digital Channel Sr. Specialist. Reporting to the Operations and Projects Senior Manager, this role will be responsible for authoring and deploying internal-facing marketing communications across EMEA and other regions worldwide. The candidate will be able to create and modify HTML email templates, send accurate and timely email deployments, strategise and craft new campaigns, manage email data, list segmentation, reporting and analytics.

Although Marketing Cloud will be the main platform that you will be working from, our team also uses blogs (Wordpress) and Slack to communicate with employees so technical knowledge of digital platforms would be a plus.

Additionally, there will be opportunities for this employee to create or assist in the development of tools, processes and frameworks to further best practices and deliver operational efficiencies.

Responsibilities:

  • Understand the objectives of the employee engagement team and support the strategy in region.
  • Team up with multiple internal stakeholders to execute internal email campaigns.
  • Manage email campaigns using Salesforce Marketing Cloud, including setup, testing, deployment and reporting.
  • Oversee campaign reporting for the region and be able to feedback on results of campaigns, spot trends and present the findings to the team and management on an ongoing basis.
  • Manage the workflow (plan, build and send) through the teams project management tool (Asana).
  • Create and leverage coded email templates to deliver up-to-date email campaigns within a strict and evolving brand style guide.
  • Recommend and implement email best practices, and stay up-to-date on the latest email marketing trends.
  • Contribute to the channel strategy in advising how campaigns could work across multiple channels (Slack, Wordpress)
  • Work collaborative and dynamically across multiple regions when required to support a round the sun handover model.
  • 5+ years experience in the email design, marketing or interactive marketing industry essential.
  • Knowledge of current email standards, email compliance regulations, and email/web best practices.
  • Advanced knowledge of email marketing and metrics (especially in Marketing Cloud) and quality assurance for all campaigns and strong attention to detail.
  • Sound ability to meet demanding, evolving and potentially overlapping deadlines and ability to manage time effectively, understand direction and work independently.
  • Expert knowledge of analytical platforms a plus.
  • Relevant BA/BS degree required.
  • Experience in HTML and CSS.
  • Data-oriented and good understanding of segmentation.
  • Excellent project management skills.
  • Team player, able to learn and work with cross-functional teams.
  • Not opposed to a healthy dose of fun.
