The role

We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic individual to work within the Digital Transformation team to grow a BI & Analytics team, to deliver high quality services to GT clients.

This is an important role. Success will be rewarded with a clear route to progression to senior levels within the firm.

This role is client facing, and you will work directly with decision making client leaders from a broad spectrum of industry sectors. You will:

• Work with Technology and wider practice leadership to set the direction for the D&A team, as well as build and develop the team capabilities. Support and develop our people, including learning & development, certification & CPD plans
• Work with others to develop our go-to-market Data & Analytics strategy and solution offerings.
• Lead the team in the definition of best practices & repeatable methodologies
• Contribute to Sales & Pre-sales activities including proposals, demonstrations & proof of concept projects.
• Project initiation & technical leadership/governance – ensuring appropriate technical standards are applied during project implementation.
• Provide subject matter expert input and advisory role input to client engagements as required – strategy and solution advisory, technical resource management, client workshop facilitation and overall engagement management
• Lead and support business development activities, grow your network– identify and develop relationships with new and existing clients
• Collaborate with colleagues to share knowledge and promote Data & Analytics innovation and assets across the business. Development of Whitepapers, blogs, webinars and other though leadership material
• Define & document reference architectures, solution design patterns, solution accelerators for use in BI & Analytics.

About your domain knowledge and skills

Required skills: While you may not have everything on this list, you should have a deep knowledge of many, and at least a higher-level knowledge of most.

• Strong experience and application of technical standards and best practices in solution design & project deliverables with specific focus on Data Analytics & Data Visualisation tools (PowerBI, Qlik, Tableau) and next-gen visualisation tools
• Strong written and oral communication skills with the ability to present complex data patterns, insights and arguments in a way that is accessible to everyone, especially senior stakeholders at CXO level.
• Subject matter expert level knowledge of Data & Analytics technologies, best practice models and project delivery methodologies:
  • Data Warehousing
  • Data/Big Data Architecture. Experience in multiple tools/language/frameworks within the Big Data
  • Data Integration (ETL/ELT, API)
  • Advanced data analytics, building models in Python, R, SAS programming languages and libraries
  • MS Azure
• Previous management experience in developing people and service capability through resource management, coaching and focused career development skills
• Experience in facilitating effective workshops across all levels of an organisation
• Practical experience of project delivery under Agile and LEAN type methodologies
• A knowledge and experience of data quality and data cleansing techniques
• Deep and eager interest in emerging technologies, and the ability to leverage those technologies into a solution to meet our strategic and operational client needs
