Responsibilities

• Define the analytics strategy and drive the execution of the plan to make Tines a lean, fact-driven organisation
• Design, implement, and leverage operating metrics to aid strategic and functional decision-making.
• Design data pipelines, reporting platforms, metrics and analytics solutions to measure business performance, identify trends, and provide data insights through an evolving mix of ad hoc reporting, dashboards and data model.
• Partner with Engineering on defining and establishing single source-of-truth
• Own and drive complex data and analytics projects from design to delivery to address business needs
• Eventually hire, manage, and grow a team of data analysts help them reach their full potential.
• Collaborate effectively with other teams to drive data integrity at the source systems and stability of the data systems

• 7+ years experience working as part of a data analytics/BI & reporting function, at least 2 of which were in a leadership role
• Have demonstrated knowledge in all elements of a data & analytics setup, e.g. BI tools (we use Looker), ETL/ELT, Databases, Data Visualisation, Web Analytics
• Are extremely hands-on and pragmatic, with extensive SQL experience. The ideal candidate does not necessarily need to be a programming guru, but should be able to rapidly write complex SQL queries with several years of experience in doing so.
• Self-starter, able to take high level objectives and run with them to completion with minimal hand-holding
• Macro-to-micro versatility: strategic mindset coupled with a keen attention to detail
• Well-rounded interpersonal skills, and experience interacting with diverse stakeholders at all levels
• Understanding of SaaS and the key metrics and performance indicators
• Strongly preferred:
  • Has previous startup experience
  • Previous experience with one or more of Looker, Snowflake, FiveTran, Salesforce, and Google Analytics
