- Develop business analytics solutions (ETL & reporting) to support meaningful insights on $60Bn+ yearly drug spend
- Engage with internal stakeholders to derive additional reporting and data analysis requirements to better achieve our contractual targets and meet emerging customer needs
- Design and build underlying ETL pipelines and develop reporting solutions for a variety of audiences from internal teams to finance and senior leadership
- Process optimisation of existing ETL, including transition to Microsoft Azure as part of Optum’s future data strategy
- Collaboration with business and IT Stakeholders across OptumRx teams
- Be a driven, self-starter, who can demonstrate initiative
- Experience in analytical roles (e.g. business analysis, data analytics, data science)
- Experience with any of the following: SQL (required), Python (preferred), or R
- Business Intelligence/Data Visualisation experience: Tableau (preferred), Microsoft Power BI or similar
- Strong communication skills, able to work with stakeholders at more senior levels
- Ability to interpret, review, and translate data into clear business insights
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in industries such as Healthcare, Financial Services, Banking, Telco or Consulting would be beneficial
- Experience in Microsoft Azure would be beneficial
- Undergraduate degree in a numerical subject (e.g. Statistics, Engineering, Mathematics, or Economics) or relevant experience
