Customer Credit History Data Submission & Remediation Analyst, Retail Banking

The Customer Credit History Data Submission & Remediation Analysist under the direction of the Customer Credit History Operations Manager, Retail Governance, will be responsible for the submission of customer credit history records monthly to external credit bureau. Where required they will undertake rectification & remediation of records both internally and externally. They will lead a small team of analysts and work closely with our Data & Analytics colleagues. 

 

At the heart of the customer credit history team is the customer, and this role will ensure customer credit data is accurately reported to national credit bureaus and AIB references accurate external data to inform credit decisions to protect both the interest of the customer and the bank.

 

What you will be doing:

  • Developing a strong understanding of our Credit Reporting, systems and source data used by AIB for Reporting” – along with;
    • Preparing and overseeing the upload of over two million Central Credit Register Records on a monthly basis ensuring the Bank meets its Regulatory Service Level Agreements.
    • Working with the Customer Credit History Operations Manager to design, implement & execute a robust control processes, including control monitoring reports and management and remediation of rejected files.
  • Becoming a Subject Matter Expert supporting the Customer Credit History Operations Manager in their engagements with business stakeholders on downstream impacts on Credit Reporting Data.

  1. At least 3+years’ experience as a data management role delivering against SLA’s
  2. Data Tooling Skills: Strong Excel and SQL Skills are required
  3. Data Management Processes: Have an understanding or have had exposure to our regulatory data submission processes and required assurance and control mechanisms
  4. Data Remediation Management: Ability to understand data challenges and manage and execute a data remediation plan, including management of associated customer & stakeholder communications
