Business Development Manager, Homes and Consumer

We’re looking for someone who can:

  • Develop and maintain a strong, professional relationship with assigned Intermediaries.
  • Identify training needs of assigned Intermediaries and deliver required training to them to improve CX, minimise re-works and improve overall customer satisfaction with Haven.
  • Counsel and train Intermediaries regularly on emerging issues around product, process or system changes
  • Manage and progress all new business proposals.  
  • Oversee the provision of a quality service and ensure that intermediary queries, concerns and requests are fully and professionally responded to within agreed SLA’s.
  • Be fully conversant with the Intermediaries needs and expectations in terms of the provision of Haven products and services.
  • Be fully up to date with lending policies, display strong credit management and assessment skills, to assist in the mortgage application process.
  • Participate in the management of the service offered by the Business Relationship team to ensure that high performance levels are maintained.
  • Ensure that all procedures and controls are fully understood.

  • Previous experience in a business development role.
  • Significant Mortgage Underwriting experience
  • Self-motivated and well organised with a proven ability to prioritise, plan and work under pressure effectively to meet deadlines.
  • Excellent presentation, communication, analytical, change and project management skills.
  • Excellent knowledge of all systems, processes and procedures across Haven
  • Customer Service focused
