The Business Analyst will join an exciting Scaleup with the backing of a well-established parent company. They are disrupting their industry with their one-of-a-kind marketplace platform. Having already enjoyed a lot of success, they are expanding into new areas and growing their customer base.
Engineering is owned by the Belfast team. Their flat structure and lack of red-tape means your work will directly shape the product – and quickly!
 
Your new role:
The Business Analyst will work closely with 3rd party partners, data providers, customers + colleagues to develop a deep knowledge of the product. In the early stages of the Business Analyst role, you will conduct research and explore API documents to understand how systems integrate.  The Business Analyst will gather product requirements and create functional requirements specs, process flows, mock-ups and wireframes for developers. You will drive and support software development + integration projects to extend the product's functionality and adoption.


The Business Analyst should have most of these;
-Experience working on projects integrating systems using APIs (data-mapping/integration-heavy focus)
-Experience gathering + defining requirements in a SaaS environment
-End-end SDLC experience + Agile (Scrum) familiarity
-Inquisitive + proactive nature
-Insurance sector experience would be an added bonus
