Analyst(Data/ Business/ Application)

BA Lead

  • You will partner with operational users, business analysts and developers to understand user and system requirements
  • You will work within an agile framework (scrum) to deliver results
  • You will write and maintain documentation, including user stories, requirements, user guides
  • You are expected to assist the development team in understanding requirements, and user stories to more effectively implement the business needs
  • You are expected to assist the testing engineers in generating and executing scenarios for effective and thorough testing.

Essential Requirements:

  • 6 to 10 years relevant experience as a technology Business Analyst using Agile methodologies.

Technical Skills:

  • We need you to have excellent technical writing skills, capable of producing high quality documents
  • We expect you to display good stakeholder management skills and an ability to understand and explain technical requirements in a clear and concise manner
  • You will have had previous exposure to SDLC methodologies, agile (scrum) preferred
  • You have the ability to understand/articulate technology architectures and design and the skillset to distil complex processes into clear work flow diagrams and/or user interface wireframes
  • Some knowledge of an agile management tool, e.g. JIRA a benefit
  • You are proficient in Microsoft Office - Excel, Word, Project, Visio
  • Basic SQL and/or programming skills (Java/.NET) knowledge a benefit.

Business Skills:

  • An understanding of the Treasury Funding domain and knowledge of financial services industry is a benefit
  • Should be dedicated and demonstrate skills in communication, problem solving and collaboration.

Organisational:

  • You should be able to work in a team environment, provide status updates, identify and escalate risks and present solutions to peers and business groups.
  • You must be able to work with a virtual (geographically dispersed) technical scrum team
  • You should have good organisational and prioritisation skills
  • You are self-motivated, independent and take the initiative.
