Agile Project Delivery Coordinator Digital Transformation

My client is mapping their whole company to starting a massive digital transformation project for all departments in the business.

In this Agile Project Delivery / Project coordinator job you will play a vital role in helping them achieve that.

You will have an Agile / Lean mindset and experience in this area. They do not want a purest, but someone who can be flexible and drive a culture shift within the business to become an Agile / Lean organisation. For example coaching a Business Analyst on how to do a user stories.

Reporting into their Transformation Director, working within their transformation business area, you will be given a framework to work with, a tool for you to use for the delivery of your projects. Your role, is to work with the business to make sure these projects are achieved within agreed timeframes and escalate any issues when needed. Breaking down the structure of the project into workable pieces. Making sure budget approval is in place before work commences. Coaching and guiding people from different departments to make sure they are following the guidelines, process and procedures outlined in the project plan

The business will have mission critical projects that will need to be delivered. You will drive the delivery of these projects for the business. This will cover a broad scope of things such as Business / Operations / IT. There will be anything from 10 to 15 projects happening at the one time. Average project duration approx. 5 months.

This is a busy, fast moving environment. You will need to take ownership of the delivery of these projects, making things are done, while building great relationships within the business. The great news for you is that this business have massive expansion plans for the next 5 years and beyond. They have a start up mindset , so think of this as a greenfield project with loads of opportunity for your personal career development.

Your role will breakdown into 60% Project Delivery, 10% Project Coaching the business, 10% Value analysis / ROI and 10% Project System and report updates.
