The Large Enterprise Prime Sales Manager will be responsible for leading a team of 6-8 Account Executives to deliver new business revenue whilst ensuring genuine business outcomes for our new customers. This role will require an experienced Sales Manager who can be the lighthouse for their team. They must bring a high level of energy and a winners mentality to beating our competition to new customer acquisitions. 

The chosen candidate must be capable of ensuring that all of your individual contributors fully understand their customers and know how to demonstrate SAP value and subsequently deliver against revenue targets.

The candidate must also bring creative solutions to winning new business at critical moments of the sales cycle and must be able to work with a wide range of internal stakeholders to ensure that we achieve a winning and predictable outcome for SAP and our customers.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Manage a team of 6-8 New Business Account Executives
  • Own quarterly sales forecasting and pipeline reviews across team
  • Provide sales coaching, training, and execution of sales strategy in order to increase New sales revenue
  • Ensure deep market coverage
  • Develop and maintain in-depth knowledge of SAP solution offerings
  • Track and review key metrics to ensure the success of reps through the full sales cycle
  • Develop and maintain professional relationships with New clients at C-level
  • Display a systemic approach to managing challenging contract negotiations/deals with multiple reps at a time
  • Maintain a real-time understanding of the competitive landscape to assist in determining win-based proposals and commercials
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with other functional areas internally at SAP e.g. SAP Services, Channel, Subject Matter Experts, Pre sales, Commercial, Legal, IVE etc to ensure a collaborative approach to secure large enterprise engagements
  • Communicate effectively and professionally at C-Level internally and externally
  • Fluency in English
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • At least 5 years of SaaS sales experience
  • Ability to travel up to 30%
  • Multiple presidents club experience from New customer acquisition
  • Experience working on complex contract negotiations
  • Demonstratable Experience of digital transformations
  • Experience of people management preferred
