Description
In this role you will perform engineering and design tasks to produce construction documents, collaborating with a team of engineers and designers. And, design telecommunication cabling infrastructures based upon clients’ needs, codes, standards and best practice.

What you will be doing:



  • Designing the following essentials and systems: backbone distribution, horizontal distribution pathways, voice/data cables and connecting hardware, outside plant and telecommunication Spaces.


  • Collaborate real time with other disciplines such as electrical, life safety, I&C and architectural to develop designs.


  • Leading, responsible for direct communication and collaboration with all other disciplines as well as owners and trade partners and will coordinate with and direct production resources for creation of 2D and 3D deliverables.


  • Adhering to quality and CAD/BIM standards.


  • Checking quality for 2D/3D modelling and Mech/HVAC deliverables.


  • Perform site surveys and design verification.


 

What you need to apply:



  • Minimum 4 years proven leadership in building telecom system design


  • Strong relevant engineering/design experience in industrial/advanced technology sector.


  • Preferably have data centres & semiconductor Fab experience


  • Experience in equipment layout definition.


  • Working knowledge of NEC and current BICSI standards


  • Experience using REVIT and BIM


  • Excellent English


  • Great communication and interpersonal skills


  • Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment with multiple deadlines.


  • Be organised and technically competent.
