Technical Support Engineer

Key Responsibilities

  • General IT Support duties
  • MAC book Imaging and MAC expertise.
  • Asset management of Mac Books / Laptops / Peripherals
  • You must be willing to get stuck in and help in all areas - Assets, Facilities, On-boarding new employees, WiFi/Server issues, badging etc
  • Software updates and MAC OS installations.
  • Server room maintenance
  • Asset Logging and tracking in SNOW (Service Now)
  • Point of contact for all help desk issues in SNOW (Service Now)
  • Monitoring of internet circuits and rack components.
  • iPhone set up with all new associates
  • Arranging returns / repairs to Apple

Additional Responsibilities

  • Ordering new Phone Handsets
  • Ordering Peripheral devices , Mouse / Keyboards / Monitors etc.
  • Issuing of temporary Access Badges.
  • Assisting with new employee on-boarding

Requirements

  • Needs 3+ years' experience
  • The person must have good drive and wants to develop in the role as this can potentially lead to promotion.
  • Ideally Apple MAC book Imaging and Mac OS capabilities but again training will be given
  • Server maintenance experience
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Willing to learn and take on ad-hoc tasks as needed.
