Our client has an immediate vacancy for a Technical Project Manager with experience working in Asset / Fund Management companies
Standard PM Responsibilities include
- Lead the planning and implementation of projects
- Deliver the projects on time, on budget and to the expected quality
- Stakeholder management
- Facilitate the definition of project scope, goals and deliverables with key stakeholders
- Identify project pre-requisites, dependencies, constraints, issues, risks and critical path and manage these proactively
- Define project tasks and resource requirements
- Assemble, coordinate, manage and control project resources and tasks
- Effective communications at all levels from Executive to Team level; strong verbal and written skills required
- Develop and maintain full scale project plans
- Budget management, control and reporting
- Monitor and report on project progress to all stakeholders and governance bodies
- Provide direction and support to project team
- Quality Assurance
- Project Closure and Benefits Realisation review
- Ensure all project documentation is in compliance with project management and governance standards
- Minimum 5 years project management experience
- Capacity to get up to speed quickly with existing project management and governance standards
- Experience and proven ability to manage large and complex business and IT delivery projects
- Strong leadership, communication, influencing and collaboration skills
- Experience of Project Management and Application Delivery methodologies and deep understanding of project management functions and artefacts
- Asset Management or other Financial Services industry experience
- Project Management certification desirable (Prince or PMP)
