In this role as a technical Product Manager, you will support the OMS Performance & Reliability Engineering Team whose mission is to ensure performance, reliability and the scalability for our core Workday Services.
You will collaborate with technical architects, development, operations, and infrastructure organizations to deliver on cross-team initiatives and objectives through design, testing, product release, and maintenance.
You will provide thought leadership on defining service level objectives, observability improvements and use data analysis to achieve high levels of service reliability.
The role is based in Dublin, Ireland.
Your main tasks:
- Own the scope, roadmap, implementation and tracking of services & tools offered by the team
- Manage the product backlog and be an integral part of the scrum team
- Clearly articulate product requirements and prioritize requests
- Apply the use of Data and Metrics to facilitate the evaluation and improvement of development team effectiveness and success in delivering their objectives
- 3+ years of product management experience in a SaaS environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Experience with scrum, kanban and other agile development methods
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
- Experience in software development with an emphasis in performance engineering, automation, DevOps
- Experience with Continuous Integration and Software Testing and Deployment pipeline
- Experience with Confluence, Jira and Bitbucket or GitHub
