Sr. Payroll Quality Analyst

About the Role

This role helps connect functions across our team with various geographic responsibilities. It's a technology heavy role allowing you to play a key role in optimizing / automating processes. In short, you'll be helping the various roles within the payroll team work better together, and improve its operational capability.

You'll help represent our different payroll teams in project meetings, and guide our multi-regional teams through execution of projects. You'll also assist in building out testing plans, and performing some testing as well.

In addition, you can contribute by showing the project ropes to teammates with less project experience.

In addition, as you acquire or use existing technical skills with various aspects of our payroll process, you'll develop expertise to help trouble-shoot and guide team members to navigate changes and improvements to the process.

You will partner and coordinate with various groups across Workday: compensation, benefits, human resource, finance, etc.

Finally, you're a focal point to help us to stay current with Workday functionality as we incorporate new features that come out semi-annually.

  • 4 + years of overall payroll, finance or human resource process experience
  • 1-yr of previous experience processing payroll using Workday
  •  

Other Qualifications

  • Bachelors Degree (preferred)
  • Experience with Workday payroll or Workday Global Cloud Connect tools for 3rd party payrolls (preferred)
  • Experience with at least 3 cross-functional projects (working with human resources, benefits, compensation or other teams)
  • Prior roles using Workday payroll tool is highly beneficial (US, Canada, UK or France)
  • Experience with PECI integrations also highly desirable
  • Must have strong communication skills working in a collaborative environment
  • Ability to prepare documentation and train team members
  • Experience with Workday report writing and/or establishing metrics is helpful
  • History working in large, dynamic organizations
