What you’ll do:
- Design and build privacy-preserving algorithms and systems using techniques such as cryptography and differential privacy
- Work directly with software engineers to review or implement parts of the code
- Perform design reviews and ensure potential privacy vulnerabilities are discovered and remediated during the design process
- Collaborate with other parts of the organization and provide privacy engineering expertise and guidance
- Promote and encourage a privacy-conscious culture
What we’re looking for:
- 4+ years of experience in privacy engineering, privacy-preserving data collection, differential privacy, data aggregation or other privacy related software engineering roles
- Strong software development knowledge, with a proven track record in developing production quality software. Deep knowledge developing and debugging in Python, Java or Javascript
