At Workday, configurability has been a core design principle since day one. This configurability is a significant differentiator, allowing workday customers to experience a significant reduction in total cost of ownership over our competitors. The Enterprise Frameworks team is at the center of this configuration capability. We design and construct layered software components that are embedded within the Workday applications and extended as required. This team is responsible for the business process and condition rule frameworks, to name a few, used by all of the application products.
We are actively seeking the right candidates to engineer the next generation of these frameworks and services to enable the enterprise to go where its never gone before!
- Experience developing software using all aspects of OO design (like c++, java, c#) and construction with an emphasis on reusable or platform based functionality design and delivery.
- Experience developing metadata based enterprise applications.
- Knowledge of agile development processes.
- Understanding XML JSON standards and experience in their application.
- Proven ability to build complex systems using web services standards (WSDL, SOAP and REST).
- Proven ability to build complex systems using web, service and MVC standards and patterns
- Collaborative team player with strong work ethics, good oral and written communication skills
- Experience in Human Resources, Financial, Payroll or Education related business processes an asset
- An understanding of one or more business domains relevant to Workday systems.
