As part of Enterprise Frameworks and Components team, you will contribute to the efforts of delivering core components and frameworks used by different Workday applications. You will have the opportunity to tackle complex problems, which comes with developing and delivering global mission critical enterprise software using your expertise in design, coding, algorithms and complexity analysis. Required skills
- Highly competent in object-oriented design and development experience in object-oriented languages
- Familiarity with algorithms and data structures.
- Experience designing/developing business applications for performance, scalability, availability and security.
- Experience with UML, Web application development or SaaS (Software as a Service) technologies.
- A good understanding of Agile methodologies and full software development life cycle.
- Enjoy solving problems as a team and thrive in a highly collaborative space alongside Engineers, Product management and QA
- Strong engineering background in Computer Science or related disciplines.
- Passion for software development and analytical thinking
- Ability to learn fast and fail forward to thrive in a startup like environment
- 2+ years experience in OO enterprise software development preferably using Java/C++/C#.
- Aptitude for coding and designing APIs for performance, scalability and security
- Exposure to agile development methodologies
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- BS in Computer Science or related fields
