Functional Responsibilities:
- Proficiency in responding to technical questions related to tools/solutions.
- Participates in planning, organising, and implementing of small to medium application delivery projects.
- Engage with multiple technical teams to ensure appropriate integration of functions to meet goals as well as identify and define necessary system enhancements to deploy new products and process improvements.
- Resolve variety of high impact problems/projects through in-depth evaluation of complex business processes, system processes, and industry standards and MetLife Strategy.
- Follows approved SDLC, project management methodology and Agile framework, ensuring that all required steps are followed, all required deliverables are produced, and all approvals are obtained.
- Proactively manages all application related risk items / findings to closure / resolution.
- Manages the full system development process, and turnover to production.
- Utilises knowledge of system flows and contributes to the development of standards for coding, testing, debugging, and implementation.
- Provide in-depth analysis with interpretive thinking to define issues and develop innovative solutions.
Desired Work Experience:
- 3+ years of experience in the Agile framework and tools.
- 3 to 5 years extensive knowledge in either xPression or Quadient Inspire product suite - Designer, Automation, Scalar and Interactive.
- Familiar with Quadient Digital Advantage Suite (DAS), Customer Journey Mapping and Messenger a plus.
- Experience in all aspects of the software development life cycle using document compositions tools.
- Ability to create and design complex forms based on the business specifications.
- Ability to deliver end-to-end print applications solutions.
- Experience and desire to work in a Global delivery environment.
- JSON, XML, XSD, XQuery/XPATH
- Experienced with DB2, SQL Server – Using Data Modelling tools a plus.
- Familiar with Linux Shell script
Technical Skills:
- 3+ years of development experience with any programming language; Java is a plus
- Strong analytical and communication skills
- Experience working with JSON, XML and XSD Schema
- Experience with Use case / Functional Design Review, Technical Design Review, and Test Cases review
- Familiarity with supporting Performance testing
- Familiarity with XQuery or XPATH; experience with XQuery is a Plus
- Familiarity with DB2 and SQL Server
Preferred Experience:
- Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or other related field preferred or equivalent work experience.
- Experience with Customer Communications Management, Enterprise Content Management or Webservices technologies.
