The Workday Studio team are looking for an experienced developer who will contribute to the design and development of the next generation of tools within Workday's Integration Platform.
You will be joining the team who own Workday Studio, the primary tool Integration developers use to build sophisticated and reliable integrations that places Workday within a customer's enterprise landscape. Workday Studio is a successful product with widespread and ever increasing use. It is a visual integrated development environment built atop the Eclipse platform, and our plugins are written in Scala. However, we are constantly looking for ways to further enable our users by extending the tools on offer.
We are looking for a developer who will bring expertise in building new services for our new stack, but who is confident enough to learn and co-own the current product offering, and who will understand the context within Workday's rapidly evolving cloud platform architecture. The various aspects of the role will include: working with product management and the team to understand the domain and the users, actively drive the design conversation, rapidly build prototypes, and deliver and own quality product.
Solid proficiency in Java and Scala
Continuous Integration tools and discipline
