My Dublin city centre client has an exciting opportunity for a Senior UX Designer to take ownership of a new hands-on product that will really make a difference to its users. You will have freedom to really add value by shaping the best way forward for this product. Work on a large portfolio of UX projects, collaborate with a team of experienced designers, and share ideas within an Agile environment.
Ideal for someone with 7+ years’ experience in UX Design who is skilled in conducting user research, collaborating with developers, and communicating the rationale behind design decisions based on research and data.
Candidates must provide a portfolio that shows evidence of UX processes such as workflows, wireframes, and user design methods.
Job Responsibilities
- Play a key role in design projects that aim to deliver user-focused software solutions to an international customer base.
- Conduct user research and usability testing to gather user feedback and understand customer needs.
- Design and deliver user stories, user journeys, wireframes, sketches and prototypes.
- Create innovative designs for new products as well as identifying areas of improvement for legacy products.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Engineers, Product Managers, etc) to share ideas and provide the best possible solutions.
- Act as a Lead / Senior in design projects, taking ownership across the entire product lifecycle and shaping the direction of the product.
Experience Required
- 7+ years’ experience as a UX Designer / Product Designer
- Proven track record of conducting user research and designing software solutions that are customer-focused and user friendly.
- Strong portfolio that demonstrates an understanding of workflows, wireframes, and user design methods.
- Experience in mobile and tablet design would be a distinct advantage.
