Workday currently has a position open for an Atlassian Systems Engineer to support our application life-cycle management tools, with a specific focus on Jira Align and Jira.
About the job:
- Install, configure and maintain a solid platform for Jira Service Management.
- Champion the use of all Atlassian products within the organization
- Manage and Deliver against projects and Programs for Atlassian
- Monitor the platform and respond quickly to issues.
- BS in Engineering or related work experience
- Must have experience with Atlassian Suite of Products including Jira and Jira Service Management.
- Excellent communication skills (including presentation)
- Proactive attitude to responding to new issues
- Understanding of Java concepts, and proven ability to troubleshoot and tune Java applications
- Systematic approach to debugging problems
- General experience in monitoring and performance tuning
- Previous experience with MySQL admin skills
- Previous Linux admin skills (preferably RHEL, or derivatives)
