Devise Strategy and Execution plan for complex business requirements by engaging with Solution Architects, Infrastructure and Performance teams and Professional Services
It would be nice if you had:
Experience designing solutions using non-relational DBMS platforms a plus.
Prior experience in a SaaS industry is a plus.

Strong hands-on experience as a database engineer/architect using different flavors of databases such as MySQL, NoSQL (MongoDB, Cassandra, Riak, Redis etc).
Should be considered an "expert" in the field of databases.
Experience managing clustered, highly-available database services deployed on different flavors of Linux.
Strong experience with automation and configuration management tools like Puppet, Chef or Ansible.
Strong scripting experience in multiple languages such as shell, python, ruby etc.
Familiarity with tools such as Ceph Storage, Gluster, Orchestrator for MySQL, Percona MHA, Percona Galera, Vitess, Pure Storage
Good working knowledge of github, JIRA confluence
Demonstrated experience in Linux, Kubernetes, Dockers, Containers
Excellent verbal and written skills - Formal presentations, white boarding
Hands-on experience supporting mission critical production workloads on MySQL or other open-source databases.
Experience with database architecture, design, replication, clustering, HA/DR
Experience with different storage sub-systems such as NFS, SSD etc.
Strong collaboration, analytical, verbal and written communication skills
BS in Computer Science or related fields with 7+ years of experience (or) MS in Computer Science with 5+ years of experience.
