My client currently has a requirement for a Senior Project Manager to join their growing team based in Dublin.
Role
You will be responsible for the operational management of distinct mid- size local/regional projects or mid-size projects of a program and ensuring that the overall project objectives are clearly defined and met. These projects from a total cost perspective typically range from USD 1-5 million.
Responsibilities
- Successful implementation of mid-size or medium complexity local/regional projects or mid-size or medium complexity projects of a program.
- Select appropriate processes required to meet the project objectives.
- Establish and maintain appropriate communication and engagement with stakeholders.
- Balance the competing constraints of scope, schedule, budget, quality, resources, and risk to produce the specified product, service, or result.
- Identify, define, combine, unify, and coordinate the various project management processes and activities
- Make choices about resource allocation, make trade-offs among competing objectives and alternatives, and manage the interdependencies among the project management areas to ensure project success.
- Develop a detailed project plan at task level based on the agreed business case, manage and control project delivery in accordance with baseline parameters and standards (time, cost, quality) to drive project success.
- Determine quality policies, objectives, and responsibilities so that the project will satisfy the needs for which it was undertaken and the project requirements, including product requirements, are met and validated.
- Ensure timely and appropriate planning, collection, creation, distribution, storage, retrieval, management, control, monitoring, and the ultimate disposition of project
- 10+ years Project Management experience, including experience in large, complex, multi-location programs or projects
- Strong track record of delivering in an Agile environment
- Proven track record of delivering complex, multi-process technology solutions in a legacy IT environment
- Technology literate, with proven experience in managing system integration projects
- Strong understanding of product and design and ideally have worked with design or product teams
- Experience of working in and managing customer and vendor relationships in a matrixed management environment
- Life insurance experience in the Irish market preferable
