Workday is looking for a Senior Manager, PMO to join ourTechnology Strategy and Planning Organization to lead the delivery of new products/features/services/programs utilizing Agile/Scrum methodologies. You will be responsible for the delivery of services from the Infrastructure/Security/Office of CTO and team(s), including customer engagement and gathering technical requirements. You will collaborate with engineers, architects and program managers from the development teams to analyze and define the technical needs of projects and drive the requirements through the design phase. You are also responsible for the delivery of projects through production deployment as well as manage the backlog of requests by determining requirements and business prioritization.

o Manage multiple direct reports and ensure high quality delivery their complex programs and projects.
o Manage portfolio trade-offs involving features, cost, design and schedule.
o Effectively communicate with executive management on decisions that impact multiple programs.
o Drive process optimization and identify opportunities for improving our service offerings.
o Effectively influence cross functional teams (Dev, QA, Ops) through the complete product development cycle.
o Partner with internal customers to develop new insights and understand long term vision of programs and deliver actionable results through team delivery.
o Help plan and oversee project execution by staff members to ensure it is well within (often aggressive) timelines.
o Manage enterprise wide programs as needed.
o Develop staff members through targeted mentoring, coaching and training.
A minimum of 5 years of experience in a PMO leadership/ management capacity.
o 2+ years of experience with Agile project management and process improvement methodologies (e.g. Scrum, Kanban).
o Heavy experience in managing enterprise wide projects.
o Experience leading and participating in technical and cross-functional projects.
o Min 5 years experience knowledge of data center infrastructure, cloud services and software development practices.
o Ability to identify dependencies between complex programs/projects and determine impact.
o Problem solver capable of translating issues into simple terms to facilitate discussion and decision.
o Excellent organizational, presentation and communication skills.
o Effective in and experienced in managing cross functional relationships.
o Able to drive collaboration and influence multiple teams.
o Experience with Jira/Confluence desirable.
o Experience in delivering information security and Enterprise Security programs.
