Job Description:
We are looking for a Senior Engineer to join the API Security squad within the Enterprise CyberSecurity (ECS) business unit.
The main functions of the API Security squad are to:
· Modernize the API security architecture in Fidelity.
· Accelerate Fidelity’s security capability required for securing APIs.
· Provide support and advice on API Security tools to other teams within Fidelity.
The Expertise we are looking for
· Bachelor's degree in computer science or an equivalent technology discipline.
· 5 + years of cyber security experience.
· Experience working within an Agile Environment
The Skills You Bring
· A knowledge of one or more of the following is required:
– REST API Development
– API Security
– API Gateway
– Apigee
· Knowledge of the OWASP API top 10 application security vulnerabilities.
· A genuine interest in working in API security to continuously assess and improve the security posture of the API platform in Fidelity.
· Ability to collaborate effectively in an Agile team.
· Excellent written and verbal communication and people-interaction skills.
· Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Nice to have Skills
· A knowledge of one or more of the following is preferred:
– OAuth2
– OpenID Connect
– JSON Web Tokens
– Cryptography
· Experience with one or more of the following: Java, J2EE, Spring MVC, Spring Integration.
· Experience with pipeline automation and orchestration utilizing one or more of the following stacks:
– GIT, Jenkins, Maven, JUnit, Docker, JMeter, Artifactory, Sonar, Veracode, Kubernetes.
· Experience of working in a cloud environment, such as Azure and / or AWS.
· Experience of deploying application infrastructure in cloud environments (AWS, Azure) and developing cloud process automation using Ansible, Jenkins or Concourse.
· A cyber security certification, such as CISSP.
