Senior Embedded Software Engineer with strong C/C++ / Linux programming experience required for permanent role with dynamic R&D company in Cork.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Electronic Engineering or equivalent
- 5+ years’ experience in embedded software experience
- Strong skills in C/C++ and development for embedded platforms (Beaglebone / Raspberry Pi)
- Familiarity with embedded communication protocols, including USB, I2C, SPI and UART
- Strong ability to debug software, firmware and hardware systems using debugging tools and lab instruments
- In depth knowledge of Linux Operating Systems, and source control tools including svn and git
- Demonstrated ability to work in a multi-disciplinary and deadline-driven environment with an analytical approach to problem-solving
