What you will do
- Reporting to the Manager, Cloud Infrastructure Services - you will serve as a ‘thought leader’ within the organisation and be responsible for the development of architectural strategies and guidance of solution delivery within our cloud architecture team.
- Architect Multi-Cloud Solutions across multiple cloud technologies
- Guide and mentor the cloud project delivery teams
- Collaborate with other technology stakeholders across the organisation
- Give guidance/direction on documentation of solutions (e.g., architecture, configuration and setup)
- Work within a project management/agile delivery methodology in a leading role as part of a wider team
- Responsible for design, development, implementation, operation improvement and debug for Public cloud environments
How you will do it
You will be the SME for hybrid public cloud services, converged private cloud infrastructure, cloud management, orchestration and automation tools within the cloud architecture team. You possess strong stakeholder management skills and the ability to direct project teams. You will have a deep understanding of industry best practices and emerging technologies to help develop a strategic vision that supports the JCI ‘Cloud-First’ approach to the delivery of future business applications.
- Master’s in Computer Science or equivalent experience
- Certification with top industry Cloud Providers – Azure, Google, AWS, Oracle
- 4+ years’ experience architecting enterprise solutions leveraging Azure, GCP, or OCI IaaS/PaaS services
- 8+ years of experience of relevant infrastructure design/delivery - Azure, GCP or OCI Certification
- In depth knowledge of key Azure, GCP or OCI Services
- Design, delivery, engineering, automation and devops implementation, service operation and service improvement initiatives
- Knowledge of PowerShell, Source Control, ARM templates, JSON, Bash and deployment automation
- Automated deployment of APIs via API Management / App Service and server-less solutions
- Deployment orchestration and configuration management tools (DevOps, Jenkins, Chef, Puppet, Terraform, Kubernetes).
- Relevant on-premise infrastructure architecture
Preferred Experience:
- Cloud strategy assessment and definition
- CI/CD using Jenkins, Ansible, Python, Shell scripting, Change management
- Experience using DevOps Tools, Python, Dockers
- UNIX OS and scripting languages like shell, awk, perl
- Experience on handling of servers like IIS, Tomcat, Apache
