Senior Cloud Native Developer

As the size and complexity of 5G networks grow beyond the capabilities of operators to manage with traditional applications, the need for fully autonomous management of telecoms networks becomes more important.

In Development Group (DG) Automation we are developing the next generation of automation apps that will allow operators to fully automate the management of their networks.

We will achieve this through a mixture of O-RAN standards, ONAP opensource software, and cloud native microservices running in public or private cloud and deployed to customers daily using a world class CI/CD framework.

In this role you will;

Get to work with and learn about the latest new technologies from 5G and Public & Private Clouds to Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence! If you are a specialist in these technologies, excellent, come and help us. If you are still learning, also phenomenal, we will instruct you what we know.

• Knowledge in cloud technologies and tools, container/microservices, databases, and security
• Proficiency in one or more languages, such as Java, Python, C++, GO, Javascript
• Be familiar with the latest CI/CD technologies and standard methodologies
• Passion and love to continue developing your knowledge
• MSc/BSc level in Computer Science or the equivalent level of knowledge
• Customer focus and ambition to understand customer needs on developed features
• 5+ years of relevant Software Development experience
• A capability to perform best in a team-setting – working in a multi-cultural & international environment brings the best out in you
• Network Management, Radio & Transport technologies, and Mobile Core Networks experience would be an added advantage, but not mandatory
• Proficiency in English, written and spoken
