We are currently recruiting for a Senior Apex Developer to join our Dublin based client
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Independently be able manage all aspects related to Oracle APEX Development & QA Support.
- Maintain best practice development standards and maximize use of native Apex functionality
- Update APEX development standards with best practice APEX development for the new APEX version
- Responsible for the documentation of changes
- Participate in the development and coordination/execution of the testing
- 5 years + Oracle Database 11g + Experience including database design, upgrades and performance tuning
- 5 years + experience with Oracle APEX version 5+ (Preferable experience with version 18+)
- 3 years + experience supporting Oracle Databases, with upgrade experience a plus
- 3 years of experience with SQL & PL/SQL
- Experience migrating code/pages/objects from Dev/QA/Prod Apex environments
- Significant experience migrating entire APEX applications to new environments
- Ability to design for Industry Best Practice Design in Oracle APEX
- Good interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills and effective problem-solving skills
- Mid-level knowledge of Hardware in general, and hardware knowledge as it pertains to Oracle APEX
- Database performance tuning, replication, monitoring tools and tuning procedures
