My client is one of the leading providers of Financial Services in Ireland. They are currently on the lookout for a QA Tester to join their team based in Dublin 2 on an initial 3-month contract. The Quality Assurance (QA) tester plays a critical role in delivery high quality, perfectly functioning software and applications for customers, evaluating new programmes to identify and help remove bugs and other user experience issues. In this role you will implement systematic test plans, collaborating with software developers and the project team, providing quality work output and screening for errors.
Key Duties & Responsibilities:
- Implement systematic test plans and execute test cases
- Document and evaluate test results
- Detect, log and report programme bugs and issues
- Track defects and help troubleshoot errors
- Minimum 1 year in a QA Tester role
- Experienced in Agile frameworks and regression testing
- Experienced in test management software / Agile tools such as JIRA / Confluence
- Strong knowledge of reporting tools and data sources and ability to create reports to a high standard.
- Strong analytical skills and proven ability to deliver accurate, relevant and timely information.
- Excellent attention to detail required
- Good working knowledge of programme languages
- Excellent organizational skills and a proven ability to manage multiple priorities and ensure that deadlines are consistently met.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and deliver results working to tight deadlines and show good commercial judgment.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the competency to work both on an individual basis and as part of a team
- Strong communication skills with an ability to deal with all levels in a confident and professional manner.
