About the Role
How you will contribute
- Undertake the full development lifecycle of a global enterprise class application
- Produce high quality software solutions within time and budget
- Create and execute innovative IT solutions to problems
- Work within a team and focus on continuous improvement and learning
- Provide support of existing applications to an agreed SLA
- Facilitate and support onsite deployments of major projects
- Minimum 8 years OpenEdge experience in a commercial environment
- Excellent RDBMS design and querying skills
- Experienced in CHUI\Webspeed and Appserver
- XML/JSON data manipulation skills
- Experience of Unix/Linux Operating System and commands
- Experience and understanding of the Supply Chain/Logistics industry
- Excellent business process analysis skills
- Proactive can-do attitude and work ethic
- Ability to adapt to new technologies and ideas
- Communications skills both written and oral
- Degree or third level qualification in IT or equivalent experience
- A strong service and business focus
- The ability to work under pressure and deliver to changing business demands
- Ability to see bigger picture and understand a global application focus
- Ability to code to standards and take direction as to general coding methods
