Cohesity has opened a role on the Indirect Procurement (InPro) team for a ownership minded Procurement Specialist. This is an exciting opportunity to help shape an emerging function within the company.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES/OBJECTIVES
- Steward purchases through the end-to-end procurement process
- Match contracts to purchase requests, issue purchase orders and send purchase order to vendor
- Quality check all incoming purchase requests for proper documentation and new vendor setup requirements
- Reply to or escalate inquiries from vendors and internal stakeholders
- Enrich procurement data and generate standard reports
- Candidate should have 1-5 years of experience in a procurement, purchasing or supply chain management role
- Candidate should be able to own the role of being in critical path for all indirect purchase transactions
- Candidate should have an aptitude for communicating effectively with a geographically dispersed team
- Candidate should be able to operating independently with minimal supervision, and be comfortable being remote from other team members
- Ability to partner with stakeholders across the organization in an emotionally intelligent manner is preferred
- Prior experience systems experience in sourcing, vendor management or purchasing (Netsuite preferrable)
