This role is for a self-motivated individual with excellent interpersonal skills who will be responsible for authoring front-end content for Vodafone's website that will enrich and nurture our relationship with our customers. To be successful, an individual must have strong knowledge of a content management system, preferably Adobe Experience Manager Touch UI (AEM).
Essence of Role
We are looking for a Content Author with experience using AEM or a similar CMS and a flair for digital copywriting. The successful candidate will have experience working directly with Product Managers to create rich content for digital consumption and cross-functionally with design, developer, DigiTech, brand, product, and marketing teams to improve user experience and company performance.
Key Accountabilities:
* Contribute to a cross-functional technology team working alongside multiple business teams to meet the goals of the company.
* Responsible for selecting templates, components and modules, adding/editing content (copy, images, video, tagging, SEO metadata) to compose web pages based on brand guidelines and stakeholder input.
* Work within a team of content editors, developing processes for prioritising content updates that will drive user value, improve online visibility, and traffic volumes for commercially important search queries.
* Additional responsibilities may include managing assets and images within the Adobe Digital Asset Manager, creating experience fragments, developing workflows, providing detailed authoring documentation as well as training for peers and authors.
Essential
* Experience with creating, editing, and reviewing content for online sales & service transactions.
* Experience researching and producing product specific content and identifying opportunities to improve on-page performance based.
* Executed time sensitive content strategies including content hubs, internal linking reviews, product page optimization, and other white hat on-page best practices.
* Experience working with industry standard content marketing systems.
* Experience working collaboratively with, designers, engineers, product owners and branding.
* Demonstrated an ability to operate between teams to ensure tone of voice and brand standards are maintained.
Desirable
* Experience in conversion-oriented copywriting for product pages and informational content.
* Working knowledge of HTML, CSS and JavaScript is a plus.
* Experience working in an agile environment.
* Experience using Adobe Product suite.
