About the Role

Lead a team of talented software development engineers to build the next generation Multi-Cloud Platform to enable Workday’s growth
Collaborate with the Product Management team and cross functional teams to develop a roadmap for the team, prioritize the work and set and maintain a high bar for quality
Triage issues and prioritize team backlog
Support the platform across development and production environments
Hire, mentor and grow high performing engineers
Continuously improve productivity and expertise of the team

You are an experienced hands-on leader who is passionate about making other people successful
5+ years managing software development/engineering teams
Excellent communication and presentation skills
5+ years of experience in building scalable distributed systems
Ability to build strong relationships with diverse teams within an organisation.
Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
Experience with cloud native technologies and one of the public cloud providers (AWS, GCP or Azure) is a big plus
