My Dublin city center client is looking for 2/3 Java Developers to join an exciting team with 3 - 7 years experience. This is a permanent role with one of the top consultancy firms in Dublin.
Experience Required
- 3-7+ years experience as a Java developer
- Strong knowledge on J2EE,JEE
- Proficient in Java 8 plus
- Must have solid object oriented programming patterns
- Strong exposure in Databases and SQL
- Good exposure to Framework: Spring (boot, data, mvc, etc.), Hibernate and JPA
- Also knowledge of WebService REST/SOAP
- CI/ CD and test driven development (TDD)
- Knowledge of Microservices, Kubernetes, Docker are good to have
- Familiarity with cloud deployment,i.e. AWS, Azure
Essential and Desirable Skills
- 3+ years of Development experience
- Previous experience in an agile / SCRUM environment
- Experience mentoring junior team members
- Client facing experience is highly desirable
- Ability to work independently and also on a team
- Knowledge of microservices is a plus
- Automated test (nice to have)
- Fluent in both verbal and written English
Requirements
- Computer Science Degree or similar certification
- EU passport holder (Post C19, travel may be required)
