IT Support Specialist

THE COMPANY:
Our client is a leading a leading multinational digital platform.
They are currently looking for an experienced IT Support Specialist who will provide technical assistance and support to employees regarding computers, servers, hardware, software, and events.


THE ROLE:

  • Assure users are provided efficient and timely desktop and local infrastructure support across the organization.
  • Provide IT support to employees within the company remotely across different locations & time zones.
  • Manage requests received through the IT Helpdesk in line with agreed SLAs.
  • Identify opportunities to reduce service requests through better user training and/or documentation.
  • Manage equipment inventory from evaluation and purchasing to maintenance and depreciation.
  • Work closely with suppliers, procurement team and finance team and take ownership of I.T. procurement process
  • Work with auditors to ensure that procurement procedures are being followed
  • Manage onboarding / offboarding process including remote workers.
  • Manage and maintain A/V equipment
  • Manage endpoint installations, upgrades, and troubleshooting (for Windows, macOS, Linux)

THE PERSON:

  • IT professional with 3+ years hands-on experience in IT Support and/or Administration.
  • Experience supporting in a multi-OS environment (MacOS, Windows, Linux)
  • Excellent diagnostic and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Outstanding organizational and time-management skills
  • Experienced with Active Directory/Azure/GSuite environments.
  • Experience supporting Zoom conference room technologies or similar.
  • Additional experience with tools and systems like Meraki,Jira,Intune and Slack are bonus.
