EU Service & Portals Product Manager

The successful candidate will join the Elavon API and Developer Portal teams in Europe and will be expected to assist the Senior Developer Portal Product Manager in all activities of Product Strategy and Delivery across Elavon’s next generation boarding and servicing API portfolio globally. 

The incumbent will assist senior management in product planning and execution across the Developer Portal team including the gathering and prioritising of product and customer requirements by the team and working closely with Commercialisation Managers in the EU and product development colleagues in North America as well as sales, operations, marketing and third party partners and vendors to ensure revenue and customer satisfaction goals are achieved.

 

The role requires experience with Agile/SCRUM (in particular SAFe 5.0) including creation of features and user stories for subsequent design, development, and testing activities.

 

Main Duties include the following:

  • Help develop and evangelise product vision and strategy for API and Developer Portal Portfolio
  • Work with other Product Managers in the business to deliver and support the products as they are launched and become an integral part of Elavon’s product portfolio
  • Ensure all the products in the portfolio conform with global regulatory requirements;
  • Work with an Agile/SCRUM cadence to bring solutions to the market that address the needs determined through feedback collected from the market;
  • Reviews risk data related to product line(s) and ensures risks are effectively monitored and managed;
  • General understanding of the product lifecycle in an Agile/SCRUM development environment;
  • Complete detailed product requirements, product user stories and supporting documentation material for product launch;
  • Analyse business needs and project proposals and help deliver multi-tier solutions;
  • Assist with competitive analysis and collation of information relating to all competitive activity;
  • Excellent verbal and written English language skills;
  • Polish/Spanish/German language skills advantageous;
  • Proven ability to multi-task;
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication capabilities, including the ability to work well with a variety of personalities
  • Ability to communicate systems solutions or issues using appropriate language, both written and oral;
  • Ability to work with users and management to analyse user requirements;
  • Analytical thinker and problem solver who provides follow through;
  • Ability to set and work to fixed deadlines;
  • Must be able to self-manage delivery of assigned tasks to deadline;
  • Detail orientated.
