Job Description
Due to continued expanisoon we are currently looking to add an Endoint Client Services engineer to our existing internal team in EMEA and based from Cork. This is an initial 12 month fix term contract.
Reporting to Manager, Endpoint Operations and Regional IT, the Endpoint Client Systems Engineer role will have a primary focus on managing and maintaining our Windows endpoint fleet, in parallel to project participation focused on migrating our managed endpoint and mobility suites to modern architecture, as part of global technology transformation projects currently underway.
As part of a dynamic, fast-paced Architecture and Operations team the Client Systems Engineer role is well positioned to influence and contribute to evolving the security posture and Windows Endpoint productivity tool suite, in support of our highly technical enterprise employee base on the frontlines of Cyber Security.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Support of Windows Endpoint Enterprise tools and services, to ensure a consistent and unified device management experience
- Partner with Information Security Teams leading the introduction of evolving security stack architecture elements
- Deployment and management of pre-release internal security tools and services as part of our FireEye @ FireEye program.
- Drive security and configuration standards compliance, and drive spearhead remediation efforts where necessary
- Work with business leaders and functional subject matter experts to solve for business outcomes and accelerate business opportunities by introducing emerging technologies and innovative productivity solutions.
- Drive active partnership with mergers and acquisitions integration teams to ensure that goals are achieved for IT productivity tool enablement.
- Partner with the Technical Writing team to drive active contribution to Self Service, Knowledgebase and internal Support documentation.
- Degree/Diploma in Information Technology, or comparable qualification from a relevant discipline from a recognized university.
- Deep knowledge of operating system principles and architecture, particularly for Windows, and ideally for MacOS.
- Experience supporting Windows Endpoint devices at enterprise level
- PowerShell Scripting experience a positive
- Experience with SCCM, InTune, and other Enterprise Management solutions for Windows Endpoint
- Exposure to Azure AD, Autopilot, JAMF Pro JAMF Connect preferred
- Positive attitude with a strong focus on creativity and active solutioning.
- Excellent communication skills (both written and oral).
- Strong analytical skills for solving complex cross-functional problems.
- Ability to work independently and to communicate ideas to other team members effectively
