You will be working in an agile environment and be a key part of the cloud (GCP & Azure) building team. Automating all workloads through PowerShell, AEM, Terraform and C# to name a few. Collaboration and partnerships with engineering & product teams is big part of this role. Understanding new requirement needed along with best practises tools and technologies used will be your responsibility.

- Be a key part of a team building cloud platform tools and solutions for a leading Irish eCommerce company.
- Collaborate with the engineering teams to define strategy and technical platform roadmap.
- Partner with development teams to continuously deploy deliverables through lower environments into production.
- Evaluate new tools and technologies based on current and future feature requirements, performance, cost effectiveness, security, and reliability.
- Work closely with development teams to understand requirements and apply industry knowledge to recommend build/buy solutions.
- Review existing solutions with a fresh perspective to suggest improvements and optimizations.
- Deliver high performance, and scalable on premise and cloud services optimized for cost efficiencies.

What you will need:
- Must have a minimum 4 years of experience within an IT and/or Cloud operations technology organization.
- Excellent knowledge of .Net and scripting tools like PowerShell.
- Knowledge of Continuous Integration, Continuous Deployment and Continuous Delivery pipelines and tooling.
- You should have a strong background with cloud solutions - Google Cloud Platform or Azure.
- Knowledge of PaaS based solutions such as Cosmos DD, Service Fabric, Azure Front Door etc. is a plus.
- Knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes an advantage.
- Knowledge of Windows and Linux.
- Strong background with an Agile development environment.
- Detail oriented with the objective of delivering a solution to a problem in a timely and efficient manner.
- Knowledge of monitoring, dashboards and alerting systems (App insights, Pager Duty etc.).
